A rather creaky old still, small voice says 'Railton' , but then another one countered with 'Jensen'.  They're probably both wrong....

Indeed both guesses are wrong, but the coachbuilder may well have bodied a Railton. Probably not a Jensen, as they would have done their own.

Citroen, Ranalah.

Very well solved indeed. I thought that one might go as far as the Pros. I have not found out the actual model of Citroen which provided the base, but it was clearly not a Traction Avant.

You're now one point closer to being an Expert.

Light 12 Sports is the correct model name for this UK (Slough) built Rosalie RWD Citroen model.

Was this a Slough catalogued model, or a coachbuilt individual car?

It's OK - I found out the answer myself! It was offered as a catalogued model described as "British-built" coachwork. Ranalah were very busy at that time, producing bodywork for Ford, Morris and Vauxhall.

Yes, with quite a number of these being built, and a few nice examples still surviving today.
