Who knows this car?

It is fairly modern going by the tyres and appears to have a Rolls Royce radiator?

So custom roller?

The company is better known for their Bentley conversions.

Those ones looked almost identical but featured a Bentley grill.

I thinbk this one was a one-off within their series of neo classic cars.

I guess you meant Donnington. ;)

Give me a reasonable year and the poiunt will be yours...

Made by Halse Engineering around 1974..Donington is the correct spelling.

Funny, that the ad was wrong..

Thank you for that very correct answer - your point!

I suppose it's related to these Bentleys?:

The mis-spelling of Donington is daily. I've even seen it mis-spelt on official literature; I suppose the printers thought just one 'n' looked wrong so added another for good measure!

Here is a typical example from an advertisement:

Back in the 1970's a company called Johnard Vintage Cars of Blandford, Dorset. re-bodied a number of 1950's Bentley Mark VI standard steel cars with light roadster bodies.

As you can see they've spelt it both ways just to make sure! At least they know it's right 50% of the time that way...

The cars were, of course, named after Donington Park race track.

To be fully accurate, Johnard should be mentioned as the make in the subject heading, as Donnington was only the model name. Thanks.
