It's a home-build, yes, but I don't know what parts were used.  I only want the name of the builder..

I understand that Easter Europe contries are those at the other side of iron courtain, those that were influenced by defunct URSS.

In that case the answer is "No"!

So let's try - Austria?

No.  Perhaps my Reply#7 wasn't clear.  It is Soviet but not by the name kwgibbs mentioned.
Serra only mentioned the Soviet-dominated Eastern European countries but not the old USSR itself so I had to answer "No"!

I can't be more specific on the "where?" part, which is really answered because it's from the old USSR, making it a Soviet home-built.
I just need the name of the builder now.

I've found a picture with no name or builder, but the plate is Russian and tag as 'Stylnenkyy'

Carnut

You've found the right car!
Except I have a different name for the builder (which may or may not be correct of course; I'll try to check).
Meantime this is locked for you to see if you can find the same name I have..

I'd just like to explain that "Stylnenkyy" is definitely not a name. I guess it's Стильненький, which would be something like "stylish" - probably just someone's funny comment.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Thanks!
As mentioned at the start it's not the name of the car I'm looking for as I don't know it, but the name of the builder.

No!  Plenty more Russian names to go, although I don't actually know his first name, just the first letter of it and his surname...

I'm hard pushed to remember after a year and a half but I think it was, yes!
