It's a mid-'50s Studebaker customized for H. Donald Canazzi in the late '50s, who owned a fiberglass boat company. Styling wise it looked it might have been designed by Canazzi himself (at least my source seems to say so), but the mechanic upgrades were done by Bill Frick. It was called the Golden Ray Studillac.

Canazzi's boat-building company was Custom Craft of Buffalo, NY, and it's quite likely they carried out the fibre-glass mods to his designs.
