I expected someone to say that (because it does!) but AFAIK it has nothing at all to do with that car..

It was made in a city but with fewer than 100,000 inhabitants.
In fact since the car was made the city, although it still exists in its own right, has been absorbed into Greater Montreal (sorry about my earlier reply; the info I had dated from before that happened!)
Does this city belong to the Urban agglomeration of Montreal ?

It's difficult to say.
It's part of Montreal now but it's a bit away from the centre; I doubt if there's much countryside in between it and Montreal centre however.
My question was a bit more specific as the Urban agglomeration of Montreal (with a capital U) is a subdivision of the Greater Montreal, which includes Baie-d'Urfé, Beaconsfield, Côte Saint-Luc, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Hampstead, Kirkland, L'Île-Dorval, Montreal, Montreal East, Montreal West, Mount Royal, Pointe-Claire, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Westmount and Senneville.
So, was the car made in a city that belongs to the Urban agglomeration of Montreal ?
It was, yes.
Was it built in Baie-d'Urfé ?
Beaconsfield ?
Côte Saint-Luc ?
Strangely I can't find any information about a rebodied MG TF in Dorval ... Was it made between 1953 and 1958 ?

I don't know when it was built, sorry.
By its appearance I would guess around late fifties/very early sixties.
Built by Duane Wright.
