1938 Lancia Astura by Pinin Farina built for Count Ciano?

That's what the car is, yes, though I have to confess I didn't know who it was built for!
The car has a UK registration, so maybe he was UK-based?
Well done anyway.

Yes, the car was commissioned For Count Ciano.
He was based in Italy and was the Foreign Minister from 1936 until 1944 when he was executed.

Here is a sale notice in the UK from 1957 which also uses the puzzle photo.  I assume it was rescued after the war and taken to the UK at some points.

Thanks.
Must have been worth $750/0/0d of anybody's money!
(For those born after 1970 that's 750 Pounds, 0 Shillings and 0 Pence, before the UK moved into the 20th Century currency-wise!)
