A Devin Alfa ?

Contrary to its appearance it has nothing to do with Devin!

Devin would have been my guess as well. Is it American ?

Yes, it's American.
It's clearly either a reproduction or a straight copy of a Devin, but it's made by somebody entirely different.

Home-made or built by a company ?

I'm sure I saw it somewhere...to skip the obvious: American?

EDIT: sorry, I read you already answer to that.

Made by a company that made different models (like Kellison or similar?)

Carnut

It's built by a company, though not one known for actually making cars.
They make one other model as well, but with a similar name.
They haven't made cars with other names.

That other model, is it another line of shells or bodies, like Miglia or Samnio (that I know ae not American...)?

It's a re-creation based on a proprietary chassis.

A real model, like Jaguar?

Yes, a re-creation of a classic (on a modern chassis of course).

A re-creation of a classic with Italian design...
In my database, the most replicated not italian cars are Cobra, Seven, Bugatti, Corvette, Thunderbird, Jaguar, MG and so on..is it a British car?

Yes, it's a British car but it's not on your list!

Is it meant to be a Bristol recreation ?

nicanary

I'm still trying to get my head round this one. Can I just get confirmation - it's an American-built car, from a company that doesn't actually build production cars, and it's a recreation of a British car which was designed by an Italian company?

I don't want to break AP's code of honour, and expect multiple answers all at once, but is there any mistake in my synopsis?

(As you may have guessed, I haven't got a clue......)
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

No, we've already established that the puzzle car is a Devin copy..

No - see above reply.
It is made by an American company who have never been a producer but are launching this one after marketing their first car - which is the one PJ is asking about (a recreation of an Italian-bodied British car but using a proprietary chassis.)

Goddit?!

I was stalling for time! I still can't work out which car influenced this one!

Found it!
The list of possible ones was quite short, now.
De Lorean, Jensen or Triumph....but also Aston Martin:
Only 3 American companies with an AM replica in my index: Fiberfab (with the Liberty SLR), Fine Car Store (reproducing a DBR2) but also Classic Sports Cars frm Topton, North Carolina, maker of the Ravana Z...and the Ravana, the puzzle car!
