Clearly I was confused by the number of exhaust pipes - there must have been a 2 into 1 somewhere!
A frontal view, which makes it look wider than the puzzle photo.
In fact, the NSW at the rear of the car was a bit of a help. ;)

As I recall it, cylinders 2 and 3 of the XPAG engine had siamesed exhausts hence the three pipes. Not uncommon and carried forward to the BMC A and B series, albeit on the other side of those engines.
