VAY Special (AKA the BS&T Special) built in 1958 by Vic Yachuk in Canada. Mechanical bits were from a Morris Minor.

Yes, it is the car formerly known as the VAY Special, but in its later BS&T Special form (which stands for Blood, Sweat and Tears!)
But it doesn't have Morris Minor mechanical bits.
Someone else got hold of it and gave it a new body with new mechanicals, plus that new name!
So it's locked for you to say what it has in this picture.

From what I can find it seems originally it had an early Minor engine with an Alta head, then it had a 948cc Sprite engine, and now a 1275 BMC A-Series engine.

Yes; I understand the new body and engine were fitted by Gary Magwood.
Well done.
