Was the builder located in Los Angeles ?

The company he worked for was not exactly in Los Angeles, but was part of the Greater Los Angeles conurbation.
I don't know exactly where he built this car though.

Yes, but don't forget that's not the company which built this car..

Was the company located in Santa Ana ?

That's where they moved to.
I misread the population, sorry.  Santa Ana has 329,000 which I misread as 32,000.  So both places where the factory was located had over 100,000 inhabitants in the 2010 census.

You found it!
The story is that it's thought to have been built by Warren Geddes, who worked for Glasspar, though it's not known if it's actually based on a Glasspar or not.  It's certainly resembles one in some areas but not in others.

Either way we'll call it solved and if more information is forthcoming (and the site I got it from are trying to get Bill Tritt's son Matthew to say if he knows anything about it) then I'll post it.

Well found!

William Geddes or Warren Gerdes ? The car is currently for sale and according to the seller it was built by one Warren Gerdes... I couldn't find your source where William Geddes is mentioned.

Thanks for my 588th point anyway !
