Built between 1963 and 1968 ?
Is this car a "one-off" built privately, rather than from a major manufacturer?
Found it - it's a 1964 Hino=based car called a DEL RSA (that's what the caption says). Never heard of it, and that's one very obscure source you found!!
That's it, though I had it as the Hino RSA DEL.
Odd that this car is so far off the radar!
A point for you. well done.
Here's another picture of it:
I can't believe that this car was works-built. It looks like it would scarcely pass scrutineering at a Croft clubbie. I reckon it's an enthusiast effort trying to copy a Lotus23/Merlyn - the engine I think was from a Contessa, so the power would have been limited.
Interestingly, it seems to be LHD.
Dammit, had both those photo's all along. The company is the Del Motor Racing Co, who built a number of different racing cars including a Toyota V8 powered RSB in 1967, and a series of single seaters, all of which look very professional.
