It's no good asking too many questions about this car as I don't know for sure what it is; I just have some ideas..
Who can identify it for certain, for 1 point?:

I don't really know.  The front looks like it's a rear-engined car but I don't know what.
I do recognise some of the glass though and it's not Renault..

This car reminds me a coachbuilt Fiat 1500 or something similar... maybe by Bonetto... I don't remember the model, I've to check

I don't see any Fiat parts there, but if you can come up with a picture of such a car...

seems a Brasilian VW

I know what you mean, but I don't think it is; but if you can come up with some proof...

I don't know why, but the puzzle car remember me this one:

It's like a "razor-edged" version of the Auto Union 1000 one-off coupe.

For glass you recognize: Is it from a German car?

Carnut

It has similar proportions to the Brazilian Karmann-Ghia, I agree, but as far as I know it's not related.
The Auto Union special Galrot has posted a picture of was puzzled here:

It's also unrelated AFAIK.
The windscreen at least is from a German car.

Any Steyr-Puch relation ?

As I said at the start, I hve no proof of what it is, just an idea.
And my idea is not Steyr-Puch related!

Looking at the wheels, I think there may be a Porsche 356 underneath.

That's what I thought the wheels look like too, so it might have Porsche parts; or...

I've found some more information about it.

Apparently the roof is believed to be from a early Porsche 911, the front wings were partly taken from a BMW and the rear end was borrowed from a Glas. It is believed to have been built on a lengthed Volkswagen floorpan. Here are some more pictures of it taken while it was awaiting restoration outside a body shop in Frankfurt.

Carnut

Well done!
I think it's possible the whole roof might be from a Glas, as that front windscreen is from a Glas 1600 GT coupé.
I had it as a VW special, so I think that's probably what powers it, as it certainly appears to be rear-engined.

I think I'll give you a point and call it solved as we are probably unlikely to get more information, but if anyone does know more there's always the possibility of another point!
