Standard?

Yes!
Locked for Richard Cuyler and targhediferro, whoever is first with the answer.

French coachbuilder?

Yes, but it doesn't seem to be known which one..
All that remains now is to say what Standard model it is, so it's locked for you to complete.

1933 Standard 10?

Actually Richard this is locked for targhediferro, since he got both the Standard and French coachbuilder answers..
Anyway, it's not a Standard 10 and not from 1933!
Locked for targhediferro again..

standard 8 Tourer 1947?

That's it, although I have it as 1946 but you're near enough and might be right anyway knowing Internet facts..
Well done.

Interesting wheels for a Standard of that period!
Standard is one of the more difficult names to search for - and always has been, even before the internet!
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Yes, it's definitely a Standard though, as can be seen by that little Union Jack on top of the grille where it meets the bonnet, which I would have edited out if I'd spotted it at the time of posting!  The wheels look very French of course.
