1929 Galloway 12/50?

That's a really good guess. When I first saw this photo I didn't realise what it actually was, but further image investigation revealed the caption was correct.

Sorry, it's not a Galloway!

No. They produced many cars for many years after WW2.

Looks a bit like a Triumph I'd say. Bigger than the Super Seven, but not sure I can get further at present.

LOCKED for Allan Lupton. It is a Triumph - 24 hours to tell me more.

Well it's either a 13/35 or a 15/50, but so far as I can see from Georgano and other references they only differed in engine size so which this one is can only be a guess.
Since the car that looks the same in my Georgano is a 15 h.p. of 1928 I'll say that a 1928 15/50 Triumph is what this one is.

He shoots, he scores - as they say these days.

Spot on Allan. The clue in the photo is that all the other cars are Triumphs, so I suppose it was taken at a club meeting. I can't say I recognised it as a Triumph, and the Weymann body put me off. I had to do a thorough check before I posted  the puzzle.

Means nothing to me, but then guns are not my thing, so it wouldn't, would it.
I couldn't see enough of the other cars in that photo for it to be a clue: having now established this as a Triumph, the one behind it can be seen to be a later example of that marque.
