Please tell me what this car is called, and what powers it.

Not sure what it's called, but if memory serves there's an MGA somewhere underneath

You're right - it was advertised for sale as an MGA special. The vendor clearly didn't know what they owned.

I don't know about similar - that's the car! Built by Mike Nedelko in 1956 (we've had his cars on here before) and originally with an A40 engine, later replaced by the MGA unit.
