Random guess: Owen Sedanaca?
not english
The wheels looks as Maserati/deTomaso from late 60s early 70s. The side windows looks like Mazda RX-2. I guess that this car is south american?
Oh, oh - it is Mazda based from what I remember - custom body. I have a 70s R&T magazine with this car in it. I'll scan the article on the weekend if its not guessed by then
you guys are extremely good, really.
It is Mazda RX-2 based - yes!
And the R+T magazine will bring the solution...
I believe it is called the "Meyers Mazda GT".
Right you are!
D'oh - I moved house and forgot to look up the article. Nicely done Karn.
This one is actually a re-post, but it's a different aspect and it's from a long time ago.
So, what is it exactly, who built it and why?:

What's this, what's is based on, who built it and for whom, and when was it made for 1 whole point?
A easy expert point?
It's the Mazda RX-2-based Meyers Mazda GT built by Chuck Porter for Dick Meyers in 1972/3.
It was said to have been inspired by Coggiola's Volvo 1800 ES Concept.
Actually it's a 2 times re-post of:
