Is this a Snow ?- All I know about them is they were reputed to have been in business in 1904-5 and were based in Croydon,

This is a 1904/5 Croydon registered car.

The registration would make sense, but I'm afraid it's not a Snow.

Not an Imperial. Actually it's not from Croydon, but the same area.

Yes, General Motor Car Co. Ltd, Norbury, London / General Motor Car Co. Ltd, Mitcham, Surrey built cars powered by Simms, Buchet and Aster engines in 1902-1905 and that record car was a 40hp Buchet engined one.
