Title: Solved: PN #370 -- Vernell Privette's self-built car
Post by: pnegyesi on September 27, 2012, 12:50:36 AM
This is very easy, but it is too good to pass up. Who built this car? The correct answer will raise your tally by a point

I can't believe Rookies passed this opportunity. I have no other choice, but to ask one of our Experts to identify the builder

Well, it seems no one is interested in this puzzle. Maybe one of our professionals ...

Is it connected to a famous manufacturer?
I mean is it a revival project for an old brand or has it a specific model as donor car?

these were all built by the same man.

The cars/trucks in the 2nd photo may have been built by the same man, but they're certainly not the same as the puzzle photo, unless they're later models.  As far as being on tv, that lets me out cuz I don't watch the damned thing...unless it's one form of racing or another.  I'm allergic to all the other bs on it.

Is there a reason why it was on TV?
I mean, is there anything special about it?
This is more or less what I meant with my last question..

Well, as you can see he built more than one car. And as there was an exhibition featuring his life and work, he was also featured on TV

when I posted the puzzle he was still alive. I can't find any more recent reports, but then he was quite old. Anyhow, he was not an artist.
