This looks a bit like other Chapron bodied cars. Any connection to Chapron?Or maybe Salmson?

Found it! This is one of a handful of Martin Specials based on the Peugeot 203, build around 1952-3. Salmson ended up hiring Martin, and the Salmson 2300 was born!

The car pictured in the initial puzzle has been restored. It is the last existing 203 Martin Spéciale of four built.
