Make and year for a point

woodinsight

Some expertise needed I think!

Nice!
A wild guess, but any Marcos connection?

woodinsight

There is a resemblance to an early Marcos but nothing to do with this one.......

Moving up to pro level

That's a Delaney!
This very unusual sports racer was built by Eric Delaney so that he could compete in the 1950's '750 Motor Club' races. Built by the Delaney-Gallay works in London the car has an all-aluminium body, a John Griffith's (of Cooper) designed twin-rail chassis and an even more unusual supercharged engine. The highly modified E93A engine has a balanced crank, polished rods, modified head, competition springs, race camshaft, vertex magneto and specially designed alloy sump. The engine is fed by a Ken Roberts' (Wade Supercharging) designed Marshall-Nordic manifold and supercharger. The car also has a Ford close-ratio 3 speed gearbox and NEW Alan Baillie built foam-filled fuel-tanks!

Several things in that description seem odd to me:
750MC racing's "1172 Formula" was for unsupercharged Ford (E93A at first, and 100E) engines.
Further to that, Wade superchargers and Marshall-Nordec were different companies with (slightly) different products.
May have a line to Eric Delaney, if he was one of the Delaney-Gallay Delaneys.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Congrats on your 20.000th post!  :D

The wheels do not point in that direction but could it be based on a Austin Seven chassis?
