What a strange contraption. Is it a single seater with a side-car grafted to it ?

nicanary

It's from the USA. It's a dirt/sprint racer fitted with an Alfa Veloce engine and that sidecar!
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

The source is titled "Alfa Sprint Car 1+1" and the car was located at South Lake Union, which appears to be a suburb of Seattle.
