Something about the proportions suggests that there's an MG T-Type under there.  Could it be the TC that ran at Le Mans in about '51....George Phillips ?

That's right - though I think you hve the dates wrong way around!

I saw this car advertised by a Benelux classic car dealer at the Interclassics exhibition in Maastricht a couple of weeks ago, advertised as a Kellison J4 Targa - to give it its full name - based around the running gear of a 1974 Pontiac.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Yes.  I was just about to modify my last post and add that this car dates from 1973 (as I have it) and sports a Pontiac 389 cu in V8.
