Rust 5:1921 Ford Faultless raceabout speedster - Rest 10: Waterloo Faultless engine

Djetset

Rust 11 looks like a Vermorel Type X, with Rest 9 resembling a crop spraying device, also made previously for vine yards, etc., by the French firm Vermorel.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Rust 2 ERAD Capucine, Rest 14 Suzuki Capuccino

I'm probably wrong, but is Rust #21 a cut-down Vespa 400, and Rest#8 is the Vespa ridden by Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday?
Sorry to disappoint you: you are not wrong.  :D

Lordy, I'm finding this a very frustrating puzzle, as I know a number of the cars, but I'm struggling to match them up to the other images ???.
The puzzle seems to fulfill my expectations.  ;D

One combination I do know though is the famous Hotel Le Grande Large at Dolus-D Oleron in France (Rest 19), which matches the name of the Simca Aronde Grande Large coupe (Rust 22).
I think this was a hard one, well done!

This link seems too tenuous, but I'll give it a try anyway...

So, Rust 24 is a Flipper II, built by SEAB, and Rest 16 is the Flip Car, made for the dreadful Fast & Furious 6 movie.
Right again!

Rust 16: 1924 Rollin Touring - Rest 23: Limp Bizkit's song Rollin

Having scratched my head on this puzzle for an hour, I think I might now be on a roll.

So, Rust 12 is a Renault R4-based E3D Chipie, and Rest 11 is a French ad for the special edition Renault Clio Chipie, as printed on the rear cover of an old L'Auto Journal 'Salon special' magazine.
Well scratched!  ;)

Rust 14 is a Delta Mini Cruiser, made by the Delta Motor Corporation in the Philippines, which matches with Rest 5, a Delta, a Tatra Type 11 built under licence in Germany in the mid-1920s.
Another good one.

In fact it is a Vermorel Type ZX, but that doesn't really matter.

Well done! The Autélec electric truck was built by Freins Jourdan-Monneret.

Rust number 7 is a moto-truck by Atala...and Rest 1 is a picture named "The deposition of Atala", a mythological caratteri.

Rust 18, a (modified) NSU Spider, and Rest 22, a rotary engined Norton NRV588 motorcycle, both powered by Wankel engines.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Right combination, right reason, right identification of Rest 21, but Rust 1 is not a Steyr 530.
This combination locked for you to find the right car.

Rust 1: 1938 Opel Super 6 by Gläser - Rest 21: Steyr 1500A by Gläser

I still think the Opel has a Mercedes Benz grille.

This is a bit too simple, so probably wrong.  Rust #3 is a Holka-DKW F8, built in Switzerland. Rest #18 is an alpine pass in Switzerland (?). I can't believe it's that easy, though.

PS pretty sure that's the St Gotthard pass.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
