AFM-bMW 1950
AFM is correct. Now I locked the puzzle for you for give me the model name.
AFM had no real modelnames. It is a 1950 F2 typ built by Huber, Chiemsee.
AFM F2 Huber is correct, but there is a model name. Always locked for you knewit
That is new ! AFAIK there were only 4 AFM F2 plus 1 "Kleinstrennwagen" built.
One in 1949 driven by Falkenhausen, Stuck, Brauchitsch and L.Fischer til 1953
In 1950 there was one car built for Stuck with the Küchen V8 (later (1954) converted into a Sportscar by Suisse Heine Walter) and one for Riess, later Krakau and Niedermayr
A third car was built as a Kitcar by Karl Gomann from Remscheid him self at his premesis. He was killed in this car at Grenzlandring 1950. Later Bechem brought that car and converted it into a Sportscar.
A socalled "Kleinstrennwagen" (750cc German racingcar class) was built by Drews, Wuppertal for l Emil Vorster. After an accident with a killed spectator at AAchen he sold his cars to Willi Heeks, Heeks fitted the car with a BMW 328 engine. In 1952 the car got a Huber body too. It ended up in England and was raced in Formula Libre races til mid-60s. Falkenhausen never had any typ or modelnames besides F2 or sportscar / engine capacity.
you have the point
This car is usually referred to as the third AFM 50. It was built for Fritz Riess. It could be equipped with an interchangeable streamline body which was a puzzle here before: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/new-board/wendax-3226/msg521151/#msg521151
the type of model I wanted was 50/3 for the 3rd car
That's from Sheldon's "Black Books or from Üchtel's Phoenix from the flames, part 2 (http://8w.forix.com/df2-afm.html) given just for identification. No "real" model names.
