I do not remember ever seeing this car. Do you know what it is?
I'll take Ostentatious for $1,000, Alex.
An overinflated Triumph Spitfire.
That front looks Aston Martin related, to me.

I was quite taken with the Police Interceptor version!
Oh, yes imagine that behind the iron curtain chasing western spys through prague ;)
I would love to hear the story behind this car. I thought I was familiar with Tatras, but I've never seen this one before.

My Slovak is unfortunately even worse than my German, so I cannot translate the info for you.

I found a couple extra pictures of the car.
Here's another couple - one the side elevation (apologies for the not very clear image) and the other is a model of the "Police Version"

Must be Absurdistan state police. :D
Only a rear view this time. Please tell me the make, model, year and the designer.
Tatra JK 2500 Coupe 1955
That's right. Now you just have to name the designer.
LOCKED for you
It's been over 4 days now. So it's now UNLOCKED
Can an expert finish this off by telling us the designer of the Tatra JK2500 from 1956?

The picture posted by kitaharo (reply #14) is not the Tatra JK 2500 but an MWM Luka EV : https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2017-46/ms44/ or https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2015-44/solved-neh-4336-luka-ev-by-mw-motors/
Does that mean my source for this puzzle was also wrong as it's the same car and says "Tatra" on the back.

Your image is of the Tatra JK2500. Like the "Police Car", it is a rendering/graphically created image of the actual JK2500.
Both renderings left out the large vent in the lower part of the front wing.
Your image also differs from the Luka EV, in that the Luka has a turn indicator in the front wing, and the C-pillar is designed differently.
