To solve this puzzle, four questions need to be answered.

- Manufacturer
- and type of chassis and power train
- Manufacturer of the cab
- Builder of the tank body

Whoever completes the solution receives the point, even if they have previously contributed little or nothing.

In a quiz on my favorite radio station, this is called the "pig principle".
Don't worry, this won't become the rule for me. Just a little change of pace ;-)

Manufacturer: Büssing

Type of chassis and power train: Commodore LU11/16 (flatbed / Pritschenwagen).

Manufacturer of the cabin: Gebr. Imhoff Fahrzeugbau located at the Möllner Landstraße in Oststeinbek, Schleswig-Holstein (close to Hamburg).

Builder of the tank body: Minol.

Additional info for potentially another Sichel Bee:
- Built for the Hamburg / Nuess transportation company Bruno Hoyer.
- Original registration number difficult to read but my guess is: BR 72 0317. Currently very similar and perhaps even the same vehicle with H (histortical vehicle) registration is: SFA 07045.

Alfa_Japan, that's what I call a detailed answer.

Manufacturer: Büssing - Yes

Type of chassis and power train: Commodore LU11/16 - No

Manufacturer of the cabin: Gebr. Imhoff Fahrzeugbau - Yes

Builder of the tank body: Minol - No
I only know Minol as a mineral oil dealer, not as a vehicle manufacturer.

Regarding Sichel-Bee: The customer was Hoyer, the license plate number is also correct, but does not match the vehicle type and body manufacturer.
We can discuss our sources after solving the puzzle...

Yes, this is a Büssing 7500 U with a tank body from T+A Schwietert, Beckum, now Schrader T+A Fahrzeugbau, Beckum.
A single answer and the point is yours: you have understood the "pig principle" ;-)
