This looks like 'La Coloniale', a rear propeller-powered car (just visible in the photo) made by M. Cros from Lyon, France, c.1913.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Merci, and I didn't know his first name was Gustav. I saw the photo on the top right in a very old magazine in France more than 20 years ago and made a note of the car due to its unusual rear propeller, so pleased to see some old hand written notes can be useful sometimes.
