What is this car, and who was the owner/builder?

It is the 1953 MSM-LANCIA, a 1.5 litre car built for F1 by Mauritz von Strachwitz. He unfortunately lost his licence after an accident and it had only raced in F2.

Yes indeed. I'm surprised we haven't had it on AP before now. The motor was a tuned Lancia Aurelia unit.
