I thought we had tacitly established that it was German? Since Djetset said that Brütsch was sort of "close"...
No, it's not German either, as my Brütsch comment related more to the puzzle car also being a three-wheeler microcar ... ;)

So, it's not German, nor from Austria, France, Italy, Poland or Scandinavia, but it is European!

You're right; no one's mentioned Switzerland, but it's not from there either!

No. We're beginning to run out of other European countries!

kwgibbs

would it be spain?,actually Im starving for more countries :D

Djetset

Yes, it is from Spain  :). So now's the easy part as we just need to know what this sketch was planned to be, and who drew it?!

Could it be an initial sketch of the plastic body that Antonio Capella made for Jurka around 1952?

kwgibbs

was the designer an obscure one?

Sorry, but not that.

Hmm, tricky to answer as he designed a number of vehicles, but he's not quite a house-hold name.

In 1954 another Spanish microcar that was called Bambi manufactured by Mr. Juan Aleu was presented. There is only one photo and a drawing of the vehicle in which you can see the similarities with the sketch of the puzzle. Is this the vehicle sought?

That's the machine, and very well done for finding a photo of the actual car, which I've not seen before.  I think that alone will earn you the point, but to complete my final question of the puzzle, who designed this car? I will keep it locked for you to find out  ;)

I do not find any other person related to the Bambi microcar than the owner of the workshop Mr. Juan Aleu. According to your information, the designer was not very well known but the question is: was him Spanish?

Yes, the Bambi's designer was Spanish, so I will leave this locked to you for another response.

I'm sorry Djetset, but I'm unable to find any name linked to the construction of this microcar. However, since you liked the photo that I attached and that is published in various books and web pages, today I attach the photo of the back that I consider unpublished and that, perhaps, nobody has seen since 1954. Searching the name of the I've found it in a file that does not have free access, but I've been allowed to investigate ...

Following my research I have come to know the version of a person who worked at ALEU, in his youth, that ensures that the Bambi was designed by a young Graduate Engineer by the name of Agustín Mas Grau, I hope that is the name you are looking for.

dear Luis, you are right, it's Agustín Masgrau, and sorry Djetset for taking the word. If you can purchase the current Coches Clásicos magazine you will find the article that I wrote about him, from which the Bambi drawing was taken. Ciao
