I know I've seen this before, but can't remember where. I think it's an Audi 'Speedster' concept, but can't recall whether it's from a famous design house or Audi's own studios. It's probably from 2000-2013, I'd imagine.

If this is all wrong, please unlock for someone who knows what they are talking about.

Gaurang Nagre  Future Elements Innove?

You're almost there! Gaurang Nagre is one of the students who participated in the project, and he made some very nice sketches of the car which can be found online, but he was not the originator of the concept. "Future Elements" was the global title of the student design project sponsored by Audi. And "Innove" IS the name of this particular design proposal, which was selected from among several others to be built as a full-scale model. Now you only need to tell me the name of the student who created the Audi Innove proposal, and the point is yours. Still locked of course.

To me it looks inspired by the 2007 Bertone Barchetta, at least in the side treatment...

I rather like them both. The Irfrendy design is just right for James Bond to outsmart a chasing villain by driving under big trucks and low railway crosing gates. As long as Bond remembers to duck, of course...

By the way, I see the new 'Dr Who' is a woman. I wonder when we'll see a Janie Bond?
