I too found the puzzle subject on another forum, looking for something completely different! It was Bill Bowman's regular race car, but the car was built by Bill Noble, although I'm sure you knew that. It was an attempt at an enclosed cockpit, but had to be changed back to a more standard format following investigations by the authorities.
