Can someone clarify what "jab in the dark" means? In reality this was the first draft for the Biscuter model 2000 presented in 1982, butt never was built...

I believe it means you take a chance at replying to the car posted even if you have no clue,I,ve heard a few other member,s say it as well in the past.

I think there was actually a typo fault in your writing, instead of "jab in the darck" you meant "job in the dark." My short knowledge of English did not let me understand the expression ,,,Sorry
