Is this an Italian Fiat as opposed to one made for other markets.

Indeed!
This is the only picture I have been able to find of this car, so if anyone knows of another I'd love to see it..
Well done.

Type "Automobilismo Siata Fiat 1100 R" in Google Images. You'll find a bunch of pics of a pristine blue unit from 1966

Is there a difference between Siata and Siata-Auto ?

SIATA went through several re-organisations and name changes throughout its life, but the final change was the 1960 re-organisation after the unsuccessful Siata-Abarth venture, when the company concentrated more on coach-building than engine tuning and the name changed from Societa Italiana Auto Trasformazioni Accessori SpA to Siata Auto SpA, with the cars known as Siata rather than the acronym SIATA.  They soldiered on until 1970 before, sadly, closing for good.

For the sake of interest the original name on its 1926 foundation was Societa Italiana Applicazioni Tecniche Automobilistiche S.A, which changed in 1932 to Societa Italiana Applicazioni Tecniche Aviatorie S.A. then in 1950 to its penultimate Societa Italiana Auto Trasformazioni Accessori SpA.
