De Frémond Fargo, produced between 2000 and 2003.
The Fargo was created by Arnaud De Frémond, with François Quirin, a parisian designer, and Patrick Muller, who has worked previously for Grandin/Dallas.
It was another attempt at creating a modern Moke or Mehari. It used the 1.1 4-pot Citroën/Peugeot TU, 44 kW.
65 examples were produced in the factory based in Creuse district, but the original idea was to make as many as 500 per year... :(
Probably the market for these kind of cars has disappeared for good.

I don't believe so.

Production continued into the 2000s but started earlier.

Yes, it's a Fargo!
Locked for you to provide the model name.
Found It! It's the Fargo DF. Conceptualized in 1999, built in 2000.
That's the car, yes.
It was apparently inspired by the Citroen Mehari and ran on Peugeot 106/Citroen Visa mechnicals.
Well done.
Some nitpicking: DF means De Frémond, it's the name of the manufacturer (Automobiles De Frémond). Fargo is the model name.
More nitpicking.

Are you sure ? I've never read that the Fargo could be based on Visa mechanicals. Moreover, the 106 and Visa are different platforms from different eras (the Visa is 104/205 related, while the 106 is Saxo related).
End of nitpicking.
Oko's right, the Fargo was based on the Citroen Saxo and Peugeot 106 twins, with no Citroen Visa connection.
And it is a repost: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2012-41/solved-allemano's-8470-772-2000-2003-de-fremond-fargo

My apologies.
I don't know why I wrote Visa; I meant to write Saxo..
Knuckles duly rapped!
