No

Yes
Is it a homebuilt British trials car on an 1172cc Ford chassis?
Yes, except that is was not built on a Ford chassis.
Ford Ten engined Austin Seven?
Not based on an Austin Seven, but Ford-Ten-engined.
Looks more like an Austin Eight chassis and front wheel, or perhaps a Hillman.
As all the trials cars I remember had transverse front springing I can't even guess a name - unless it's an early Chandler.
The only other trials car I've heard of is a Dellow.

Not a Dellow
Is it necessarily a trials car, it looks far too smart?
Any Buckler connection?
It was used for trials, no Buckler connection.
The wide-rim wheels at the back suggest the sixties. Is this the correct era?
Not from the 60s
A local chap, called H. Tucker-Peake, had a trials car he built himself and if I could find a photo of it I'd know if this one is it or not.
Is it?
It's not that one.
A 1970s homebuilt?
No
