Lots of luggage.
For one point, please respond and identify this car.
Looks like a Bentley T1 and a Mercedes SLC were locked in a garage overnight...
You are heading in the right direction.

Mercedes based home-built from Africa ?
Not home-built, not from Africa, otherwise correct if I accepted Mercedes as a synonym for Mercedes-Benz. ;)

Ottmann?
... and yes!
Ottmann Karosserie-Design was located in Wyk on the island of Föhr, and oko's snippet mentions that the car was seen in Dagebüll, the west coast harbour for the ferries to Föhr. But I think the article is wrong about the 350 SLC as base car. I'm rather sure there is a Mercedes_Benz C123 beneath it. I took the picture in Hamburg back in 1988, not knowing the coachbuilder until recently when a picture of a similar "Rolls-Royce Corniche" convertible based on a C123 appeared in a German veteran car magazine, stating Ottmann as the coachbuilder.
One more point for our
almost retired mastermind.
