But I don't know what it is... The lines are a mix of several cars.
To start with something, I would suppose this car has some Italian mechanicals, but was used in another country.

ImpishGrin

One thing's obvious - it was made 726 years ago.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Nothing Italian in it to my knowledge.

Europe? To be more presice, let's begin with France. I can't identify the country by the numberplate, but that seems like it could be the truth...

Ray B.

Neither France nor a french licence plate.

Not to fall into 'gues the country game' again, was it made in the middle-to-the-end of fourties?

Ray B.

Sorry, for once I am not sure of the year. But it seems a good guess.

Eh..Belgian Jef Lergos had a car called Lergos BMW Special..He raced it in late fourties, AFAIK. Any chance?

faksta

As another guess let's try Swedish CeGe Spl. of Raymond Sjoqvist.

Ray B.

None of these, but I must admit that you're on to something when you mention Belgium.

GRP Marmon? Though I'm not sure it was Belgian.

faksta

If not, then Georges Berger drove car #17 at 1947 GP des Frontieres. That one was an Alvis. Maybe this is the one (something like Alvis Special)?

Ray B.

You do know race cars and racing. An Alvis it is!
I don't know if this is Georges Berger. The car has a special body. The model name and coachbuilder is what we are after.

#19
Thanks, I'm trying to know racing :)
Alvis TA14 performed by Bidee, Brussels.  :D
Seems to be the car that ran 1949 Le Mans 24h race with a Belgian team of Louis Eggen and Egon Kraft de la Saulx. 1892cc, 4 cyl. ret. after 6 laps. But this picture is not from Le Mans - it carried #32 there.

faksta

Same equipage, 1948 Spa 24h, DNF again. But again another number, this time #30  :(

Ray B.

That's it.
