It's not a Ford engine. I don't know who made the chassis - it could be by one of the well-known builders, but on the other hand it cpould be a one-off. I simplky don't know enough about the car.

The race was for combined sprint and midget cars BTW.

I'll start again, trying to work out those exhaust spacings and the six carburettors - is it a Chevy engine?

All correct, sir. I can find nothing more about the car, but these days I'm just grateful to find an image that hasn't been posted before! I'll take your word for it that it's a Kurtis frame.
