Fellow Autopuzzlers, for a point please tell me the make and year of this car.
Don't be naughty! Stay away from Google Search by Image, kids.
With a Studebaker and a Fiat in the background the location must be Swiss
The location is not Switzerland.
But while searching to find the exact location where this car is exhibited, I have found out more about the car and it turns out that this puzzle could probably be classified as a repost. These cars were manufactured by a certain company and then a second company imported them into another country and sold them under a different name. I had the name of the second company, but the car has already appeared in autopuzzles under its original name. So now I'm hoping someone can tell me the name of the second company so as to add some new information.
Up to the Experts. Remember, the name of the company that imported and renamed these cars is required for the point.
Sadly Georgano is no help with this one - he just lists it under the original maker.
Anyway I'm inclined to agree with Norbert that it's in Europe.
Yes, it was imported to a European country.
Orient
Yes, the car is a Waltham Orient, as I assume Allan L was also aware of. But I'm sorry, that information will not provide a lock.
Allvelo-Orient 1905
Allvelo is the name I was after, and you get the point! My sources say this unit is from 1906. Swedish bicycle manufacturing company Allvelo, based in Landskrona, imported Waltham Orient Buckboards unassembled from the US, assembled them in their factory and sold them under their own marque. This one is exhibited at the High Chaparral wild west theme park in Sweden, which became briefly notorious in 2016 for housing 500 Syrian refugees during the winter.
Thanks for the point
