The website which could possibly tell me is unavailable at the moment. This matter is being discussed on well-known sites.
I'm pretty sure I tried to find out at the time the puzzle was first posted - I can tell you that the capacity was 1098cc.
It couldn't be the 1960 RSM could it - I have never seen a photo of it.

Yes. It is one of those, althought the "mark" designation does not tally with my records. That cuts it down a bit!
All I have is that one Al Souter, a Canadian, raced a car called the BS Mark 11 Special at Harewood Acres, Canada in 1960. It was also driven on other occasions there by Ed Bradley.

It's not that one, which leaves...........
the Omega MX XI is listed at the Los Angeles Times Grand Prix, Laguna Seca Raceway, California, USA in 1960 driven by Ray Ingalls. It came 30th out of 32.
On another site I cannot open it appears to be listed as the Omega Mk II

That's what I have, and as you've mentioned the driver in yoiur last post you've now completed the puzzle.
The photo was in a programme for a meeting at Vaca Valley in 1960.
