What is this car, and who built it?

Is the front suspension from a VW Beetle? Very unusual for F3.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

I don't know anything about the car, apart from the builder and the size of the engine. Oddly enough, it's not eligible for F3 events.

Are we in the Antipodes?

nicanary

Not by Mathe, not in the Antipodes, and this car does not comply with F3 regulations.

That's it. It's actually racing against 500cc F3 cars in this race, presumably because there were'nt enough cars to form a decent full grid.
