For 1 point : name, base and builder
Experts ?
is it made of wood or partly so?
I don't know.
Hotchkiss?
No.
From Europe?
Yes.
Eastern Europe (ie Warsaw Pact)?
No.
Last call before moving up.
Maybe Renault base?
Yes !
Seems to be a Renault 4 steering wheel and gear stick
Yes. That was the easy part. Now how is it called and who built it ?
Locked for you for 48 hours.
Jeep Dallas by Jean Claude Hrubon ???
No.
Sorry but i cannot find anything on this car, please unlock
OK, unlocked.
Sinpar
Not Sinpar. Much more obscure.
Pros ?
1986 Suncar built by K.I.F. in Clermont, only 2 built.
It's not the same car. The puzzle car is much shorter, much cruder, much younger.

Oh, in that case it's not a Nagil either I guess, as from memory that's also on a standard (i.e. longer) Renault 4 wheelbase (?)
Not the name I have indeed.
Bandana?
Not Bandana.
One-off from France?
Yes. However, the name of the builder doesn't sound French.
was it for sale recently?
Not that I know of.

Yes. However, the name of the builder doesn't sound French.
Oh, that's blown another theory of mine as I know that the very French-sounding French movie stunt driver Remy Julienne once built a Renault 4-based Jeep prototype, but I've never seen an actual photo of it from memory. So not the Julienne one-off I guess?
No relation with Rémy Julienne indeed.
Did you find this on a forum?
No. Found it in a magazine.
Italian sounding name?
Can it be found online?
The builder's name doesn't sound Italian. Sounds latin though.
Technically I found the car online as the magazine I got it from is available in digital format, but I couldn't find anything about the car on the web.
The name of the car can be guessed, as it's an amalgamation of one of the base's names and the name of what it's meant to look like.
The name of the builder can be guessed too as it appears to be not too uncommon.
Something like Jeenault?
You're on the right track, but there is a trick ;)
The car's name is JeeXXXl.
Jee4lle?
Sorry I've edited my previous answer: the name's pattern is JeeXXXl, as the ending "l" was in the right position in Oguerrerob's proposal.
But Wendax you had a good idea: you should indeed mix "Jeep" with the Renault 4's nickname.
Jeetrel
JeepR4L?

Jeetrel
Yes !
The Renault 4's nickname is "4L", which can be written as "Quatre L". Jeep + Quatre L = Jeetrel.
One point for Oguerrerob. Another point is to be won for the builder's name.
Louis Dubois?
No. It has already been said that the builder's name sounds latin but neither French nor Italian.
Hugo Martin?
No, but his first name indeed starts with H.
Hector Garcia?
No. The builder's name doesn't sound Spanish.
I'm a little loss, latin but not spanish, italian, nor french. Something like, Honorius Sanctis?
Besides French, Italian and Spanish, there are other latin languages that are still spoken by a fair amount of people... (Don't search for something too exotic like Friulian or Asturian).
Romanian sounding like Romanescù?
Not Romanian.
Catalan?
Not Catalan.
Basque?
More obvious than Basque (which is not a latin language by the way).
Maybe I'm heading the wrong way, Portuguese?
The builder's name sounds Portuguese indeed.
Heitor Coelho?
No. The builder's name follows this pattern :
He****** ** *****
Herminio Da Silva?
He**i*** D* *****
Henrique De Souza
Henrique D* *****
As you're getting closer I give you a lock for the next three attempts.
Henrique Do Basto?
Henrique Do *a**o
Henrique Do Carmo?
Yes ! Another point for you.
Thanks !!
The original article.
Henrique Do Carmo is said to have built a Citroën Dyane-based hot rod called "Rodyane" but I can't find anything about it.
