Can Rust N be a Hansa 1100 from the mid-1950s?

Wendax

Yes, it is, second combination solved.

Rust L : ex-Princess Diana Austin Metro
Water 26 : Diana Memorial Fountain in London
Extension : not found yet

A shot in the dark (or almost) :

Rust H : AMC Sundancer by Griffith from Fort Lauderdale.
Water 16 : a spa in Fort Lauderdale ?
Extension : not found yet.

#29
Rust Y : a Moretti ?

Yes, L - 26 locked for you.

Rust H : AMC Sundancer by Griffith from Fort Lauderdale.
Water 16 : a spa in Fort Lauderdale ?
Extension : not found yet.
Rust H is an AMC Sundancer by Griffith, Water 16 has nothing to do with Fort Lauderdale. No lock.

Water 3 : Fencing Academy by Luigi Moretti in Foro Italico, Rome.
Extension Y : Gina Lollobrigida and her husband Milko Skofic at the start of the 2nd Rally of Cinema at the Foro Italico.
Water 3 and Extension y are well found. Rust Y is not a Moretti. 3 - y locked for you.

Rust : not found yet.
Water 19 : World Fair in Gent, 1913.
Extension C : a Volvo Amazon built in Gent.
So far, so good. 19 - c locked for you.

Rust S : a Fiat Balilla ?
Water 3 : Fencing Academy by Luigi Moretti in Foro Italico, Rome. Also known as Casa Balilla Sperimentale.
Extension Y : Gina Lollobrigida and her husband Milko Skofic at the start of the 2nd Rally of Cinema at the Foro Italico.

That's your first corect combination.

Water 19 : World Fair in Gent, 1913.
Extension C : a Volvo Amazon built in Gent.
Rust : shall I look for a vehicle built in Gent ?

Wendax

oko94

Rust L : ex-Princess Diana Austin Metro
Water 26 : Diana Memorial Fountain in London
Extension : shall I look for something related to London ?

The coming holidays may give you some time for a complex group puzzle with rusty cars, straightforward as well as far fetched connections. So here it is: identify the "Rust" cars, find the connected "Water" and the automotive "Extension" somehow connected to the "Water".
The search should be at least as much fun as the finding.  ;D

oko94

Rust H : AMC Sundancer by Griffith from Fort Lauderdale.
Water : shall I look for something related to Sundance Film Festival ?

Sorry but my spare time is not unlimited so if I have no way to narrow down what I'm supposed to look for by asking questions I have to give it up. I just can't afford to spend days trying to locate some random fountain throughout the whole world ;D

Please unlock L-26 and 19-c.

The fountains don't seem to be the problem as you have already found them.  :)

Unlocked as you wished.

Don't unlock it, don't  let a moment of desperation persuade you. Oko, you're almost there

Thank you for your gentleman's behaviour, Pal. I'll reinstate the lock for oko, and, yes, London is the place to look, Belgium is not.

To add some value
I looked and looked and looked and realised that Water 11 shows somebody who kills a lion :) So I found the Simson fountain in Bern.
Now it was then very easy to find a Simson Supra in the group, which is J a type R from 1928
as for the extension. I have no idea yet

Does it have to do anything with Bern?
