Looks simalar to a Cisitalia but - it's French.
Built by Marcel Balsa with  a BMW engine.

I think so. The car was built 1952/53 and had different front covers. This picture is, I think,  from the 1954 Course de Cote Lapize.

Was the chassis by BMW or by Balsa?
