1965 Cegga Porsche 550RS, but I have no idea where the picture was taken
Yes , Cegga Porsche 2L 1966 drive by A.Badan at Trofeo Montjuich
An other photo of Cegga Porsche 1,5L drive by P de Siebenthal ( Nurburgring 1965 )
1 point for thewarlord !
The various Cegga cars were essentially rebodied older competition cars, with pretty looks but unchanged dynamics.
They were engineered "Gachnang-style". :lmao:
(Sorry, that was bad even by my standards)
what is this?
1 point for you!
Abarth?

Not from there...
Are you referring to USA or South America ?
New Zealand?
Not from NZ.
Mexico ? Assuming that that's not North or South America...
Not Mexico.
Europe ?
Not from Europe.
From a Portuguese African colony - ie Angola or Mozambique ?
Yes!
Must admit I would never have guessed Angola.
The photo was taken at the 1965 Angola Grand Prix and the car is a Porsche Spyder 2L prototype driven by Antonio Peixinho.
Locked for you.
What's the name behind this special?
From what I can gather its called a Protopipo (prototype?) Pierre de Sibenthal and it was built on a 356 Carrera chassis.
Also the word Recarrozado is mentioned (the write up is in Spanish or Portugese and the google translation is having a tough time with it).
Pierre de Sibenthal was the name I was looking for!
1 point for you!
I refer you to puzzle SAC#537 in August 2013. It's a Cegga-Porsche, probably a rebodied Porsche 904, and I'm guessing was commissioned by Pierre de Siebenthal (who was a wealthy amateur driver) from the Gachnang brothers.
The Angolan racing body at that time used to pay good starting money to encourage entries from Europe, and their Grand Prix was run to sports/GT regulations. The circuit was in Luanda.
Thank you! I merged the 2 topics. ;)
Make , model and coach builder , for 1 point ? :)

Drogo Alfa type 33?
a Suisse car called "Drogo-RSK" driven by Pierre Siebenthal in mountainclimbs and at the 1965 Nürburgring 1000KM together with Cuenod, They did not finish. A Porsche Spyder with Drogo body. Sometimes the car is called Cegga-Porsche but that's not correct.

I knew I'd seen it before; I Googled for Cegga cars (since I'd remember that was what it was before..) but didn't find it!
Here it is now:
