He's taking his time..
I'll chase him up then put a time limit on it.
I'm a bit reluctant to unlock this as there isn't much more to add.
I'd just like to see D-type add the final touch for his point.
Are you there D-type?!
sorry6, I've been awaty for ten days. I haven't any real clue, so please unlock it.

Don't you want to at least have a guess?!
@D-type: Google it and you will find it in a few minutes. I basically don't want to 'steal' it. Somehow it doesn't feel right.
I've found a photo that says this is the 1969 Jensen Healey prototype

It's not that...

looks more as a Jensen Healey
..and is locked for you to follow up on this lead and identify it exactly!
In view of the oncoming break up with BMC, Healey now based his designs on Vauxhall components. Vauxhall had recently introduced a new 'slant' 2 liter 4 cylinder engine. Using this engine made a low bonnet possible. Donald Healey named his project 'X500'.
CR4804/2/198 &199 The Healey X500 project prototype. Donald and Geoffrey had already anticipated the end of the 'Big Healey' contact with British Leyland and had started looking at a replacement. Eventually this turned into the Jensen-Healey. But the X500 was pre Jensen and Kjell Qvale.
Exactly! Nothing to add.
This is actually a repost but last time it didn't have the X500 name so I'll have to merge it and change the heading.
Well done.
