Well, extremely well done by Wendax, I never thoufgt that somebody would find the reply on this obscure car. It was build in Antwerp by two friends. I was since a couple of years servicing Formula Fords and Ford 2000 for my friend. My friend was looking at a season of F3 in the UK and I expected him to by a Ralt. Suddenly he poped up with this F3 named Ring PB3 chassis No.: 001.
We made an attempt to race the car in the 1983 "New Race Festival" in Zolder. The cas was a disaster, it had a very particular aerodynamic package, the rear wing was mounted low behind the gearbox! Anyway the car did not qualify, car got of track and damaged the rear suspension. As this was a prototype there were no spareparts, so we rebuild a new suspension arm through the night, we put a FF2000 rear wing in the normal position. All this to no avail as we still did not manage to qualify the car. This episode ruined a friendship as after that race I handed in my notice in this team. Since then the friendship has been restored.
I have no idea what happend to this obscure car..... My friend sold it and bought an Anson to do the British F3 championship, the Anson F3 was another fiasco.....
