Both images show the "Double Disk Revolver," which was created by Shinya Fukamashi and his team and which appeared at the 1995 Toyota Idea Olympics.

By the way, I found one source that mixed up a description of Fukamashi's "Double Disk Revolver" with that of the "Shocking Drifter" by Naoki Kasahara (shown below). Perhaps that is why you have two different names/builders?
