My 500th puzzle, so I thought I should make it a tough one. :P
I think this is a real brain teaser that will either be solved instantly, or will sit around in the Black Hole for a while. Let's hope it's not the latter, and here's to the next 500 puzzles!
So, to gain a point, what is the full make and model name of this car, plus any other information you may have about it?
I think this one is difficult, so straight to the Pros, although Experts can still have a go of course.
Nissan Gobi prototype by Jerry Hirschberg?
Not a Nissan Gobi, although it is based on a Nissan!
Is it Japanese from 90's?
The base is Japanese (Nissan), but the car is not. It is from the 1990s though.
Is it from Estonia?
No, not Estonian.
British?
Yes Sir, it is British.
On it's way to you know where very shortly.
Into the Black Hole.
Nissan FEV?
It's Nissan-based, but not a FEV.
Propelled by an electric motor?
It is not electric.
Does it have a folding hardtop?
Thanks for waking this one up from its long slumbers sixtee5cuda. As this puzzle has been here for so long, to be honest I have lost (mislaid) my info in this car, although I do still know what it was called, and what it was based on. AFAIK this car doe not have a folding hardtop, but rather a removable one-piece roof.
Based on a Nissan Micra?
Made by an independent British designer ?

Made by an independent British designer ?
As I mentioned previously, I lost my original information on this car some time ago when my hard drive failed, so currently I only have the name of the car, although I do have the original paper folder about it somewhere, which i will hopefully find sometime soon. So, re your question, from memory this was the work o a small company, which I don't think was an independent designer, but the firm was British. Sorry that I can not be more specific at this stage ???
Has the name of this car been used for another car anywhere anytime, or is it unique ?

Yes, the name of this car has been used more than once for other cars.
Is it the name of an animal ?
How original ;D
Name of a feline ?
No, not a feline.
Name of a bird ?
Name of a reptile ?
Name of a canine?
Name of a mammal ?
panda?
Not a canine or panda, but named after a type of mammal.
Is I'm off into a long meeting now, I will leave you to keep guessing and respond if/when the correct creature is identified.
Dolphin ?
Does this animal belong to the Ungulata superorder ?

Does this animal belong to the Ungulata superorder ?
Not quite my area of expertise, but I believe not!
Not my area either but Wikipedia is my friend for this puzzle. Thanks to that I'm discovering animals as obscure as most of the cars on this site (anyone for ZooPuzzles ?).
Does this animal belong to the Archonta superorder (bats, primates, colugos and treeshrews) ? Don't ask me what colugos and treeshrews are.
A tree shrew; I think it would be a slightly unlikely name for a car, but you never know!:
Sorry, but none of the above so far...
There must be at least one Chinese car whose name translates as treeshrew.
Is the car's name a marsupial ?
Is it an animal that actually exists or something imaginary ?

It is named after an animal that actually exists.
Is it an Ursidae (bears) ?
Is it a Rabbit ?
Hyena ?
Does this animal belong to the Carnivora order ?
I like both cars AND animals so I'm having so much fun watching this puzzle unravel! I actually knew what a colugo is (flying lemur), and they are pretty damn cool beasts. A car could do worse than be named "the Colugo"!
Keep going Oko94, cheering for you here!
Thanks for your support ! But you can play, too !

Fox ?
At last!! Well done Oko94, after five years we have finally established that this little device is called the Fox. Two points to you, but I will keep it here to complete the puzzle with the name of the creators behind the car. :applause:
Thanks !
Are the creators known for other cars ?
Believe this is an electric vehicle of the type used on holiday resorts - sticker on the roof says "Resort Sport"), possibly a concept. Any ideas?
That car is a mystery even here at AutoPuzzles, except for Djetset of course: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/the-black-hole/djetset-500/ :)
A better picture can be seen here: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/news-information-and-feedback/information-requests-what-is-this-car-thread/msg483381/#msg483381

Wow, that's quite a find! Well done.
When this car (called Fox) was first built in the mid-1990s, it wasn't electric, but rather powered by a petrol Nissan Micra on which it was based. This car has been a long-standing Puzzle in the Black Hole here, where to still remains today as I look for the name of its creators (which I have now misplaced, so proof will still be needed) :).
Golly, it's good to see this Puzzle revived after such a long time. So long in fact that I have now misplaced the name of its creator(s), so for the moment, proof will be required to show would built this Nissan Micra-based Fox in the late-1990s in the UK. Happy hunting, and four points now on offer until mid-April 2019 if you can find the builders name(s)!
Thanks, I knew it would have appeared here! I initially thought it might have been an IAD design, but it's probably too amateurish.
The license plate FOX 1 belongs to a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S nowadays. Seems to be a different car... ;D
Hopefully if I'm right I'll be still entitled to my 4 points. It the Silver Fox built by Jeff Harrison, from Mawdsley Bleachers ECV in Brampton, Cumbria. Quite generously supported by Nissan in Sunderland. PM sent of source.

Wow, at last! :applause: Very well done Skut, and as this puzzle has been here for so long (eight years!), I am happy to award you four points, even through we have now passed mid-April, albeit only by a few days.
The model name was the Fox (a.k.a. Fox 1 and Silver Fox), an electric two-seater based on a Nissan Micra platform, conceived by Jeff Harrison and part-funded by Mawdsley Bleachers ECV, (pallet Fox Composites Ltd.) plus the Nissan factory in Sunderland. It was revealed at the Knockhill Circuit in Scotland in early 2000.
