Locked to you to tell me the model designation please.

Please remember that this one is still Locked for Frontman, but the other two answers are incorrect anyway.
So, Frontman, the Lock remains for a further 48 hours.

Not the R5, but more in the other direction! I will leave it Locked for one more try.

R3?
Yes, this is the proposed Ferguson R3 Pick-Up from 1953. Well done, another point to you.
It's a new one to me. I thought the R4 came first, and indeed I thought the puzzle image was a Siam di Tella!

The Ferguson R3 was definitely before the R4, and was proposed as a three-door estate (looking a little like a contemporary Hillman Husky) as well as the Pick-Up featured here. I will try and find more photos of both shortly.

Based on what I found, there were five of these prototypes. In order, they were: 'The Crab' (R1?), R2, R3, R4 and R5. Does anyone have images of the others?
Yes, there were a number of earlier Ferguson prototypes as you say. A very good Ferguson book was released a few months ago which (from memory as I've not bought the book as yet) includes images of most of the prototypes, so once I've got a copy, I will scan the others in.
